C.O.C.O. supports and contributes to the research of the University of Kentucky’s Ovarian Cancer Screening Program and the legislative and research efforts of the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA).
Since 1987, the UK Ovarian Cancer Screening Program has provided more than 1,200 free screenings per month at satellite screening locations across the state. When caught early, ovarian cancer is a treatable and curable disease. Ovarian cancer screenings assist in detecting cancer early.
In 2023, C.O.C.O. donated $37,000 to the University of Kentucky’s Ovarian Cancer Screening Program and $1,000 to the OCRA. This brings the total to over $323,000 donated in the last 14 years.
